    Your Questions, Answered

I think trauma therapy is the most difficult therapy. We encounter feelings that we have always avoided, we make realizations that we have never thought about, and we have to grieve all of this. It is important to me that everyone can heal at their own pace, so I do not tell anyone how often, how many times, or how long to come to me.

In any case, my experience is that usually, after about half a year, my clients notice a change. But this, of course, can be less, or it can be more, depending on the complexity of the problems and life situations.

Cancellations or changes to appointments must be made no later than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment, preferably by email or phone. If canceled or changed after this time, the appointment must be paid in full for any reason. This includes circumstances beyond the client’s control, including illness. Appointments booked less than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment cannot be canceled or changed.

I am bound by psychological confidentiality, everything you tell me will be safe with me unless you tell me otherwise.

As I have broad and long experience in the profession, I am used to talking to all types of people about all types of problems and/or challenges.

I want you to feel free to bring up any problems or challenges, regardless of whether you find it difficult or embarrassing. No problem is too small, and no problem is too big.

My job in therapy is to create a safe environment for you where you feel welcome, understood, and accepted. Together we will find a way to move forward in your healing and growth.
Recovery from trauma is not necessarily spectacular at first. Our perspective will slowly, subtly begin to change, until eventually, as our trauma glasses come off, we will finally be able to see our own reality, which will allow us to function as self-identical.

Trauma is characterized by the judgmental, “before trauma and after trauma” thinking. Trauma processing helps integrate the stuck information that caused the traumatic functioning, which allows for regulation and healing.

So, no things never go back to how they were before, but the healig creates something even more, an integrated state that represents a new, grown self. And this self will be able to create a life identical to itself.
